Hello, world!

 Right then, a blog, again! 

 

    In this day and age? With all the instantly-available image and video content with fleeting stories galore? Yeah sure, why not! For me, it's as much a personal writing exercise as anything, something to exercise my creative muscles, or something like that! And, of course, to talk about stuff I enjoy, stuff I like. Music, for example! Something I've always wanted to talk about, at least in a general sense - I'm no musician, I don't know the technical side of it; what I can talk about is the feelings and the general sense evoked by it, in a very subjective and casual manner. The vibes, if you will.

 

     Now, given that this is just a fun side-hobby for me, I can be quite picky - high chance that I only mention albums that I enjoy! I want to share what I love, after all. No paid work, no reviewing of all the latest and freshest for  the sake of it, just a goober making a blog post of music he likes and calling it a "review". That is not to say I'll only talk about my favourite albums from the past, there's still plenty of good stuff coming out, after all, and that always excites me!

 

     I still haven't decided about the format, what I'll focus on, what I'll talk about specifically - I'll just come up with the stuff as I go. Who knows, looking back at it in the future, the evolution of what - and how - I've written might be interesting too.

 

    So, since this is also a blog, and this is its first post - perhaps an introduction is in order. So, hello, everyone, I am Cordell. I'm a 28 years old QA Engineer with a penchant for trying out various things in my free time, as an aside from just playing things like video games. 

 

    I walk - quite a lot, in fact, I've even walked half-marathon distances (21.1km) in one go, the longest being around 23 and a bit. I have taken up running, because walking that far takes a while, though I still need to train a LOT before I can run anywhere near as far. I also play table tennis. Casually, though the equipment junkie bug did bite me. I did not need that limited edition Nittaku Eto Blade 2024... but it was so cool! 

 

    Also quite enjoy wines, though it's been a while since I've tried new ones - I always get sleepy after a glass. I lean towards the sweeter side, I like to think that it fits me quite well! That said I've never cared much for what food goes with what wine - to me, any food I like goes well with any wine I like! Perhaps an indicator of how much (or rather, little) I know, but oh well!

 

    I'll try to get to grips regarding how Blogger itself works, but to me it's fine as long as I can make a post and it's perfectly legible! And perhaps talk about some music soon~! If you've managed to find my little corner, welcome, I always appreciate your time!
